INFORMATION FOR BUILDING PERMITS
ALL applications for building permits shall contain the following:
1. A copy of a survey map of the lot.
2. Amount of area. (Lot size)
3. A copy of an actual building plan or sketch, drawn to scale, indicating shape, size, height and location In exact relation to all property lines, and all street lines, of all buildings or structures to be erected, altered or moved, and of any other building or structure already on the lot.
4. Existing or intended use of all buildings or structures.
5. Fremont tax map reference number.
6. Type and location of existing or proposed water supply.
7. Documentation that permission was obtained from the Town, County or State that a driveway culvert pipe may be installed.
8. Type, size and location of existing septic system and leach field.
9. If a now septic system will be installed, a copy of a soil percolation test completed by a NYS. licensed engineer must be submitted prior to the issuing of a building permit.
10. If the results of a percolation test do not meet NYS. Sanitary Code requirements, then the septic system shall be designed by a NYS. licensed engineer.
11. Type and thickness of foundation for new structure or addition.
12. Specifications for chimney. (If applicable)
13. Type of heating system to be used. Include any auxiliary heating systems.
14. All construction and construction materials shall comply with the New York State Fire Prevention and Building Code.
