INSPECTION PHASES - 24 HOUR NOTICE REQUIRED
CONTACT THE BUILDING INSPECTOR 24 HRS. PRIOR TO:
Foundation Inspection:
1. Notification for inspection of footing and foundation prior to pouring.
2. Notification for inspection prior to backfill.
Septic System Inspection:
Notification for inspection of completed septic system prior to backfill.
Framing, Plumbing, and Structural Inspection:
Notification for inspection prior to applying any finish material to any interior partitions.
Electrical Inspection:
By approved agency. (Licensed Electrician approved by Board of Fire Underwriters)
Final Inspection:
Notification of completion of any building, alteration, or addition prior to occupancy
or use. If all requirements are met, a Certificate of Occupancy shall be issued.
COST ESTIMATES
Town of Fremont Rule for estimating total cost of building:
$15.00 a square foot for sheds and pole buildings.
$25.00 a square foot for garages.
$55.00 a square foot for houses.
BUILDING PERMIT FEES
Residential / Commercial - $15.00 for the first $5,000.00
$2.00 for each additional $1000.00 or part thereof.
